What you need
asafoetida

tbsp oil

tsp turmeric powder

Instructions
1: Heat 1 tsp oil, add mustard seeds, and allow to pop. 2: Add chana daal and peanuts and cook for 30 seconds. 3: Add in the urad daal and broken cashew, followed by turmeric powder, asafoetida, and curry leaves. Stir. 4: Add in the veggies, ginger, salt, and water, and let it come to a boil. 5: Add in the roasted vermicelli. 6: Give it a really good mix, lower heat, cover, and cook for 6 minutes. 7: After 5 minutes, fluff gently, garnish with lemon juice and cilantro, and serve hot.View original recipe
