A healthy fusion dessert inspired by Holi, these Choco-Thandai Bites are no-bake and vegan. Flavored with Indian spices, they are aromatic and decadent, making them perfect to celebrate any festive occasion or just for a guilt-free treat!

What you need

cup almond

cup pistachio

cup desiccated coconut

tsp fennel seed

tsp peppercorn

tsp cardamom powder

tsp cinnamon powder

tsp nutmeg

tsp rose water

pinch saffron

tbsp sugar

date

cup chocolate

chocolate chips

slivered almonds
Instructions
1: Dry roast 1 cup of oats, 0.5 cup of almonds, 0.5 cup of pistachio, and 0.5 cup of dessicated coconut. 2: Once a little cool, add 1 tsp each of fennel seeds, peppercorns, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, and rose water. 3: Optionally add 2 pinch of saffron in warm milk and add to this mix. 4: Optionally, you can also add Gulkand or edible rose petals. 5: Add 1.5 tbsp of sugar or 4 dates and 0.25 cup of melted chocolate. Blend in a food processor until a dough-like consistency. 6: Spread this mix on a flat pan and spread evenly. 7: Melt some chocolate chips and drizzle on the spread. Top with rose petals and chopped almonds. 8: Refrigerate for one hour, cut into bites, and enjoy!View original recipe
