A soul-satisfying and quick weeknight meal made with a blend of yellow moong dal and red masoor dal. This no onion, no garlic recipe is adjustable and can be enjoyed with rice or roti. The dal tadka cooks super quickly, ensuring a delicious and nutritious meal in no time.

1: Start on your tadka (temper your spices). Put your instant pot on ‘Sauté mode’. Add the ghee/oil and let it get very hot. 2: Add the rest of the tadka ingredients gradually. 3: Next, add the dal ingredients and mix well. 4: Set pressure cook settings to sealing, High, Natural Release, 3 minutes. 5: Top with lime, cilantro, and enjoy with some basmati rice.
